Prostadine and Kidney Disease: Iodine, Herbs, Doctor Advice
Prostadine and kidney disease is a question for your doctor, not for a sales page. No study tests Prostadine in people with kidney problems, and the label does not print ingredient amounts or total iodine. The vendor's own cautions say to ask a physician first if you live with a kidney condition.

Can you take Prostadine with kidney disease?
Nobody can say yes from the label. Prostadine has not been tested in people with kidney disease, and its amounts are not printed.
Our site precautions say that anyone living with a thyroid, liver or kidney condition should ask a physician first. The sales page also tells people with a medical condition to show the bottle to a doctor (Prostadine sales page).
The table lists what we know and what is missing.
| Question | Answer |

| Tested in kidney disease? | No study found |

Does Prostadine support the kidneys?
No evidence shows that Prostadine supports the kidneys. The sales page lists saw palmetto with "Kidney supporting properties", and that is a marketing line, not a finding.
The bonus guide "KIDNEY RESTORE: 2-DAY FLASH DETOX AT HOME" is reading material shown on a tablet. We found no evidence that a two-day cleanse does anything for kidneys, and Prostadine does not treat kidney disease.
Saw palmetto was studied for urinary symptoms from BPH. It did no better than placebo in a one-year trial of 225 men (Bent et al., NEJM 2006). Those trials did not test kidney function in Prostadine drinkers.
Ask what study sits behind a quoted phrase. Here, none is named.
Which Prostadine ingredients should kidney patients ask about?
Kidney patients should ask about iodine and the seaweeds first. Iodine is listed alone, and nori, wakame, kelp and bladderwrack add more, so the daily total is unknown. The upper limit for adults is 1,100 mcg a day (NIH ODS, Iodine).
Kelp and bladderwrack can also carry arsenic, cadmium or lead (LactMed, Seaweed (kelp, bladderwrack)). Brown seaweeds run highest in arsenic (Yu et al., Food Chem Toxicol 2024). Some shilajit samples have gone over metal limits (Hussain & Saeed, Biol Trace Elem Res 2024).
Neem has a separate record. Neem oil has caused serious harm, mostly in young children, but that source does not cover leaf extract (LiverTox, Margosa (Neem) Oil). We do not know which form Prostadine uses.
- Iodine total: unknown, so ask the order desk for the Supplement Facts panel.
- Seaweed metals: unknown, since no lab report is published.

See packsWhat should you ask your doctor about Prostadine?
Bring the bottle to your next visit. Ask your doctor or pharmacist whether the nine named ingredients fit your kidney condition, your lab results and your medicines.
Keep taking prescribed medicine. Do not stop or change it because of a supplement. A supplement can interact with medicines and lab tests (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).
List what you take
Write down every pill, drop and herb, with the brand names.
Share the ingredient list
Give the nine names. Say that amounts are not printed.
Ask about iodine and metals
Ask whether you should avoid extra iodine or seaweed products.
Agree on a check
Ask which symptoms or labs should prompt a call.
Blood in your urine, fever with painful urination, severe side or back pain, or being unable to pass urine needs same-day care. Go to the emergency room if you cannot urinate. The side effects page lists more warning signs, and the medicines guide covers interactions.

FAQ01
Quick answers on Prostadine and the kidneys
Does the iodine in Prostadine matter if my kidneys are weak?
It might, which is why you should ask. Iodine and four seaweeds are named, and the total per 2 ml is not printed. Your doctor can judge that against your labs and diet. We cannot, because the amount is unknown.
Is a kidney flush part of the Prostadine formula?
No. The "KIDNEY RESTORE: 2-DAY FLASH DETOX AT HOME" item is a bonus guide, not an ingredient or a function of the drops. No evidence shows a quick cleanse helps kidneys.
Should I stop Prostadine if my kidney labs change?
Tell your doctor right away and bring the bottle. Do not wait for your next visit if you have new swelling, much less urine or severe pain. Stopping or starting anything is a decision to make with your care team.
