Prostadine Consumer Reports: Is There a Rating?
We found no Prostadine Consumer Reports rating that we can verify, so we do not quote one. Independent testing would need amounts, a lot number and a lab method, and Prostadine prints no amounts. Until a named lab publishes a report, treat any rating you see as unconfirmed and check the sources.

Has Consumer Reports rated Prostadine?
We could not confirm that Consumer Reports has rated Prostadine. We hold no score, grade or quote from that outlet, so none appears here.
Some pages claim a rating or print one. Ask for a link to the original article, with a date, and read it yourself. A rating you cannot trace is an advertisement, and the FTC treats fake and undisclosed paid endorsements as a violation (FTC, Fake Reviews Final Rule 2024).

What would independent testing of Prostadine check?
Independent testing of a supplement checks that the bottle holds what the label says and that it is free of contaminants. It does not by itself show the product works.
For Prostadine, two checks would matter most. The first is iodine, since four of the nine ingredients are seaweeds and iodine is also listed alone. A study of 96 seaweed products found labels could be inaccurate and 54 products exceeded the adult iodine limit in one portion (Aakre et al., Food Nutr Res 2021). The second is metals. Shilajit samples have exceeded limits for lead, arsenic or mercury in lab studies (Aldakheel et al., Biol Trace Elem Res 2022).
Those results were not from Prostadine. They show why a lab report matters. See what we could and could not verify on the testing and quality page.
The references PRO-26/GO-3600 and PRO-3600-26-GO come from the seller. No lab report is published with them.
Do the badges on the Prostadine page count as ratings?
No, the badges on the sales page are not ratings. They are graphics, and none names a certifier.
- GMP: current good manufacturing practice is a federal rule, not an award (21 CFR Part 111 (supplement CGMP)).
- FDA registered: registration is not approval, and FDA issues no certificate (FDA, Food Facility Registration Q&A).
- Made in USA, natural and GMO free: no certifier is named.
- Doctor formulated: no doctor is named.
A badge is a statement from the seller. A rating is an opinion from a party with no stake in the sale. Mixing them up is the most common error on supplement pages.

FAQ01
Quick answers on ratings and Prostadine
Does Consumer Reports test herbal supplements?
It has tested some supplements in the past, but we cannot say which ones. We found no Prostadine test. Search the outlet's own site and read the date and method before you trust any claim that it did.
What is the difference between a rating and a testimonial?
A rating comes from someone who tested the product and has no stake in the sale. A testimonial is a personal story, often chosen by the seller. The FTC says testimonials alone do not substantiate a health claim (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).
Can I trust a page that quotes a magazine score?
Only if it links to the original and the date matches. Copy a sentence into a search engine and see where it first appeared. If no original exists, assume the score is unconfirmed and move on to label checks.
