Prostadine vs Other Prostate Supplements: Label Comparison
Prostadine vs other prostate supplements comes down to what each label prints. Prostadine names nine ingredients and prints no amounts, so a line-by-line dose comparison is not possible. Compare five things on any formula: amounts, iodine, the evidence for each ingredient, the seller and the refund terms.

How does Prostadine compare with other prostate supplements?
Prostadine differs most in its form and its label. It is a liquid with nine named ingredients and no printed amounts, while most prostate products are capsules with a Supplement Facts panel.
We do not rank brands here. The honest way to compare is to hold each label against the same five questions. The table shows how Prostadine answers them and what a typical capsule label may show.
| Check | Prostadine | A typical capsule label |
|---|---|---|
| Amounts | Not printed | Usually printed per serving |
| Serving size | Not printed | Printed |
| Form | Liquid, 2 fl oz (60 mL) | Capsule or softgel |
| Refund | 60 days from delivery | Varies by seller |
| Price | $79, $69 or $49 a bottle | Varies by seller |
Which prostate supplement ingredients have evidence?
Few have strong evidence, and none has strong evidence for the prostate. Saw palmetto is the most studied, and large trials found it no better than placebo for BPH urinary symptoms (Bent et al., NEJM 2006) (Barry et al. (CAMUS), JAMA 2011).
A Cochrane review of 32 trials with 5,666 men found no benefit (Tacklind et al., Cochrane 2012). Pomegranate studies were done in men treated for prostate cancer, with no placebo group in one (Paller et al., Prostate Cancer Prostatic Dis 2013). Those are not studies of an enlarged prostate and not studies of Prostadine.
Seaweeds, shilajit and neem have no human prostate trials that we found. A brand that lists many ingredients is not showing more proof. See our prostate supplements guide for the wider picture.
A longer ingredient list does not raise the evidence. Ask for the study, the dose and whether it was this product that was tested.
What should you check on any prostate supplement label?
Check amounts first, then iodine, then the claims. Amounts let you compare a formula with a study. Without them you cannot.
Iodine matters because seaweeds carry it in widely varying amounts. A review of 96 Norwegian seaweed products found 54 over the adult upper limit in one portion, and label amounts were not always accurate (Aakre et al., Food Nutr Res 2021). The adult limit is 1,100 mcg a day (NIH ODS, Iodine). Anyone with thyroid disease or thyroid medicine should ask a doctor or pharmacist before using a seaweed or iodine product.
- Does the label print every amount, in mg or mcg?
- Is iodine listed, and from which sources?
- Do the claims name a disease? That is a drug claim, not a supplement claim (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).
- Does the seller name a maker, an address and a lab?

See packsWhere does Prostadine fit in a comparison?
Prostadine fits as an example of a label with gaps. It has a simple routine, two droppers a day, and a clear list of nine names.
It also has a 60-day guarantee. Its weak spots are the missing amounts, the unknown total iodine and sales claims with no source. Our ingredients page goes through all nine, and the pricing page compares the packs.
Write down what you take
List your medicines, including tamsulosin, finasteride, dutasteride and thyroid medicine. Keep taking them.
Ask your doctor
Bring the label of any supplement you consider. Ask about iodine, blood thinners and surgery.
Compare on facts
Use the five checks above and drop any label that fails the first.
Plan PSA screening
PSA screening is a personal decision made with a doctor (CDC, Prostate Cancer Screening).

FAQ01
Quick answers on comparing prostate supplements
Is a liquid prostate supplement better than a capsule?
We found no evidence that it is. Liquids are easier to swallow, but absorption claims need a study of the product. Compare the label, the amounts and the refund terms instead of the form.
Can I take Prostadine with another prostate supplement?
We cannot say it is safe. Two products may add iodine or share ingredients such as saw palmetto, and Prostadine's amounts are not printed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before combining any supplements.
Does a higher price mean a better prostate supplement?
No. Price tells you what the seller charges, not what is inside. A label with printed amounts, a named maker and a clear refund policy tells you more than the cost does.
